Emred ducked around the corner. He waited for his opponent to appear. He was getting weary. Afraid that this was the end of the battle, he gathered all the power he had left and counted his options. There were not many. He shook his head in frustration. What was he supposed to do when he ran out of energy? He might have to break a few rules. Well, bend them, anyway.

“There you are, you little bastard,” Ellie whispered under her breath. The following shot rang in her ears as his lifeless body toppled off of the rock formation.
“Nice shot. I didn’t see him,” Kerven murmured approvingly. “You really are the best female sniper I have seen. Though, I am the best male sniper.”
“Save it for later. We should be paying attention to the task at hand. There are four of our men to the west over on the cliff top. They need cover, but we also have to make sure we don’t fry ‘em.”
